Walk for the Water This spring, A Legacy of Giving is partnering with Gilbert Tuhabonye and the Gazelle Foundation for Austin’s first Walk for the Water. This event will not only fund the construction of a complete clean water system for the Songa region of Burundi, Africa but serves as a unifying celebration for all Legacy teachers, staff and students with their families for their incredible accomplishment of raising the funds. Together we will walk a 3.7 mile course, the average distance a person in the developing world must walk to find drinking water. For exciting sponsorship opportunities, please contact Linda Brucker at lbrucker@alegacyofgiving.org or (512) 480-9352.

We are so proud of our Legacy students, together they have returned an economic equivalent of over $188,600 back to our community with a grand total of 45,010 lbs. of food donated to Capital Area Food Bank and 3,266 coats donated to Coats for Kids! Please consider a financial gift that invests in growing a generation of givers.
